Working together in new ways to create exceptional and equitable results for CT young people, their families, and community.
The four CT 'cradle to career' cities are part of the StriveTogether, a network of 70 communities in 30 states across the country committed to learning together and achieving racial equity and economic mobility.
This place-based approach recognizes that where people live matters, impacting educational, social, health, and economic outcomes in profound ways.
Research - and our own experience in CT - shows that diverse leaders working together in new ways can transform broken economic, social, and educational systems.
Each of our teams creates a shared vision, engages community, and works to more effectively organizes local funding and other resources.
Using the StriveTogether 'Theory of Action', we use data and engage residents / communities of color and other local leaders to power changes to programs, policies, and resource flows to improve school and life success for children and their families.
In 2021, the four CT cradle-to-career teams will work with residents and community partners on a shared policy and systems change agenda.
