The Connecticut Cradle to Career (C2C) Coalition, a key component of the CT Coalition, is led by five StriveTogether partnerships that serve 125,000 children across Bridgeport, Danbury, Norwalk, Stamford, and Waterbury. Through community collaboration with 15 community-based working groups and over 440 partner organizations, we are dedicated to convening partners and working together to drive policy changes that will move thousands of additional CT children toward economic mobility by 2030.

We foster a community collaboration that allows for sharing successes and challenges, thereby enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of local Cradle to Career (C2C) efforts. By developing a robust data infrastructure, we support continuous local improvement while driving statewide impact. Engaging youth and community members through education, training, and active listening ensures their voices shape initiatives and policies. Additionally, we advocate at both local and state levels for policy changes, resources, and implementation plans that address the needs of youth and families, aligning with the goals of the CT Coalition.

POLICY PRIORITIES
We strive to advance economic, health, and educational equity through community collaboration by enhancing opportunities for generational success, strengthening the social safety net, and promoting skills-based hiring and training. Our efforts, supported by the CT Coalition, expand access to culturally responsive medical and behavioral healthcare, school-based health centers, Community Health Workers, and Doulas. Additionally, we advocate for policy changes that support early education and foster strong family and student-school connections through comprehensive in-and-out-of-school support.
